Starting conversations about journalism, the internet, and how the two can better work together is one of my favourite things.

I'm lucky enough to have spoken at conferences, universities and training programmes on four continents about everything from the ethics of social media newsgathering to picking the right social media platforms for your organisation to mobile video storytelling. I was even named one of Journalism.co.uk’s best non-male speakers! Here I am talking on Czech television (in English) about how we serve our social audience at CNN, and here I am presenting about experimental social storytelling for the BBC.
